CLARET ACADEMY GARRIKI CELEBRATES MAIDEN GRADUATION CEREMONY OF THE PIONEER SET - CLASS OF 2021

The 16th of October 2021 will indeed remain memorable in the minds of all Claret Students and the entire Gariki Enugu community as the school of champions graduated her PIONEER class.

The day started very brightly with students and staff hustling and bustling about, putting things in order. The graduation mass which commenced about 10.30am was presided over by Fr. Cletus Obasi, cmf who represented the Claretian Provincial superior and Fr. Joseph Amaegwu, cmf gave the homily. The day was indeed filled with wonderful displays by our students, Launching of the Maiden edition of the 'Claret Champions ' magazine and yearbook, honorary awards to our principal Mrs Agwu and PTA chairman (both of them will be leaving the school/office soon) and special exotic awards to the graduands.

The Student who won the Fr. Christian Ihedoro's Award for Best Graduating Student went with an ecolac box and cash of N10,000... thanks to our sponsors. Other sponsored awards consisted cash prices along with items like electric kettles, Food flasks, water flasks... etc given to many other students.

On behalf of the Graduation committee, Management, Staff and students of Claret Academy Secondary School Gariki, I appreciate all our Claretian priests, dear parents, special guests and especially our Proprietor, the Claretian Provincial superior, Very Rev. Simeon Nwobi,cmf and his councillors, for the magnanimous support at the Maiden Graduation Ceremony of our school and Launching of the Maiden edition of the "Claret Champion" magazine and yearbook. We thank our parents and friends who particularly assisted in numerous ways, especially the extra support you gave us made to ensure the day goes well. We appreciate those who sponsored some of the awards - Fr Cletus Obasi, Fr Chrysanthus Ogbozo, Fr Steve Kalu, Fr Eugene Umeyor, Dr. Ejike Ajibo, Mr Henry Nwokobia, Dr. Josephine Orga, Mr. Chukwuma Mmuo etc God bless you all. We thank those who have launched our magazine. Its still open for support/launching so as to cut down the selling price and its really available. May God keep prospering us as we build the future Champions at Claret. Once again God bless you all.
